Ah. It feels calm in here. It’s got lots of little modern comforts that will make you feel right at home. You can take up to five other people with you here, which is great because it’s close to the famous Sagrada Familia. And you’ll want to share that experience. There’s a lot more to see and do too. This part of Gràcia borders Eixample Dreta. Its main feature, Passeig de Sant Joan, is a tree-lined promenade, that's a haven for dog walkers, cyclists and joggers. Old men crowd the pentanca courts. Children play. Enter in the community spirit of Barcelona.
People of all ages mingle on Sant Joan. Few seem in a particular hurry to go anywhere. Challenge the locals to a game of Spanish boules (just don’t bet - most players here have decades of experience). There are plenty of shops and cafés. It’s easy to relax. But Gràcia beckons if you want to crank up the excitement.
