Walking around this handsome area, it's easy to understand his enthusiasm. Famous for its tolerant residents, Schöneberg is also architecturally beautiful and quite upscale - particularly on Viktoria-Luise-Platz and Bayerishe Viertel.
While it's leafy and quiet in parts, you'll also find hopping nightlife. Bars are in abundance along Fuggerstrasse and Motzstrasse. And you can eat well in one of many restaurants on Akazienstrasse.
