Inside: getting comfy
Outside: the National Museum
Consider yourself a bit of a culture vulture? Then get your regular dose at the nearby National Museum. The Natural History Museum is also in the area. And when you’ve had your fill, hop on the metro and head for the centre. Have lunch at a terrace along the river before going back to relax at your comfy apartment.
To be fair on our owners and on you, we only show client reviews for an apartment once three people have voiced their opinion. And this one isn’t quite there yet, so it gets our starting score of 8.0.
Buzzing with university students, central Józsefváros - Budapest’s most enigmatic neighbourhood - is a sum of parts, from shiny and new to decaying decadence and historical glory. All held together with a large dose of gypsy soul.
Whilst tourists gather outside the National Museum in the ‘Palace District’, Budapest’s most bohemian and urban side lies on the other side of the Gran Boulevard. The south-side is undergoing a major facelift, meaning that’s there plenty to explore in the 8th.
