The Beşiktaş alongside the Bosphorus strait, is a great place to see all the sights, take a romantic walk, or simply enjoy the view.
Dolmabahçe Palace in the south is well worth a visit. Not least of all to admire the world’s largest bohemian crystal chandelier. To the north you’ll find the skyscrapers of Levent and the private villas of Etiler.
The Yıldız park is a beautiful spot to relax in. In old days only palace occupants could enjoy it; now anyone can take a walk or stop off for a picnic.
