Belém is full of palaces and monuments. Located along the river, this coveted part of Lisbon is home to numerous famous people, including the President of Portugal.
The Palacio de Belém is the presidential residence. If you can’t get an invite then pay a visit to the Jardín de Ultramar or the Palacio Nacional de Ajuda that’s been turned into a museum.
Take a walk along the waterfront to the Descubridores Monument or the Belém Tower. Or for a religious experience, visit the Monasterio de Jerónimos.
