Don’t get too comfy though, there’s far too much to see and do outside. Head to the centre on public transport or just take it easy and enjoy the famous local area. Either way you’re sure to enjoy London.
The chilled-out Greenwich district of London is a World Heritage Site for its maritime contributions and Greenwich Mean Time, with a wealth of interesting features.
Find here mansion-style museums and Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory and the beautiful Cutty Sark ship on the Thames; all are reminiscent of London's rich seafaring past.
Visit the Greenwich market for groceries and crafts, or enjoy some of the famous old English taverns located in the area. Get the train into central London or catch a Thames Clipper catamaran up the river into town.
