It’s so nice to have a spacious apartment in Paris. It’s comfy too; walk in and feel right at home. Don’t get too comfortable though, there’s too much to see and do. It’s a good choice of location because it’s a little off the beaten tourist track, but close to a metro for getting around. Feel like real locals, and then head off to see the sights.
Away from the tourist belt, you can make like a local in the 12th with picnics, parks and loads of family fun.
Foodies will love the sheer variety of cheese, charcuterie and other fresh produce at the Marché d'Aligre, one of Paris’ biggest markets, whilst families will have a hoot at the Bois de Vincennes, the city’s largest urban park and home to numerous lakes and the city’s zoo. Or join the fray on the Promenade Plantée, a 4.5km tree-lined promenade cunningly built over a disused railway track.
