The Louvre Museum holds some of the most famous art treasures in the world. Afterwards, take a stroll through the formal beauty of the Tuileries Gardens and the place Vendôme. Zola famously named the old marketplace Les Halles the ‘underbelly of Paris’. Things have changed a bit since his time, and now it’s all about shopping and entertainment.
