The Santa Maria church, its square or the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola in Via Garibaldi are well worth a visit, but Trastevere’s main attraction is its nightlife. You’ll find chic tratorrias, bars and terraces that stay open until late. Or if you fancy taking a wander, take a short stroll across the river into Rome’s historical centre.
