Appio Latino is a network of residential streets and famous for its market, Mercato di Via Sannio. It’s a place of great archaeological interest.

It’s also a good place for nature lovers. Take a stroll around Caffarella park, where you can see some interesting plants and animals. And for a spot of culture check out the Piazza Tuscolo, where they hold exhibitions and concerts. Or the beautiful Palazzo Laterano and the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano which are also well worth a visit.
