Whether you arrive with one of the larger airlines to Brussels main airport or to the further out Charleroi airport, you won’t have to struggle to get into the city centre.

Though it might be tempting to just jump into a taxi, there are cheaper ways of leaving the airport.

Brussels Airport has good connections by both train and bus.

Up to four trains an hour leave from basement level 1 to Brussels North, Central and Midi stations.

The shuttle bus only takes 45 minutes. From level 0 look for the number 12 bus Mondays to Fridays until 20.00, or the number 21 after 20.00 weekdays, all day weekends and bank holidays.

If you buy your ticket from a GO machine it will only cost you €3, bought on the bus the price rises to €5.

Brussels South Charleroi airport also has a shuttle bus taking one hour to the city centre. €13 one way or €22 return.
