"The best thing about the apartment was its central location. I have never stayed in an apartment with no window in the bedroom or bathroom and it would be very uncomfortable in summer. There is no terrace - only the general entry to the complex."
"Piccolino ma delizioso!! Nel cuore del Marais noi ci siamo trovati bene ...2 grandi e 3 bimbi!"
“Ciao Chiara! Siamo felici che ti stia godendo il soggiorno nel nostro appartamento parigino e ci auguriamo di rivederti presto per un altro viaggio di qualità con Waytostay!”
"Charming, but a bit TOO 'shabby' chic The location of this apartment is 'spot on', right in the middle of Le Marais, which is 'the' part of Paris to hang out in. The apartment has some charm and it was clean, but unfortunately it had too much wrong with it, all of which could easily have been improved (for small cost to the owners), to allow us to give it a good score. We loved the older 'flea market' style of furniture and the shuttered 'French doors' and the 1920s-30's interior. The kitchen was adequate for our needs, but don't expect to do anything other than boil water as it lacks a proper cooker. The bathroom doesn't have a shower, which is unheard of in a rental property anywhere, in any city in Europe I've stayed in at this price rate. It's a bath with a hand held shower attachment. The door handle to the separate toilet comes off in your hand and there is a big hole in the wall, hidden by a print. We didn't need it, but there is a storage heater hanging off the wall and the whole place needs a lick of paint. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, but the fold out beds in the living room were completely unbearable! My son had terrible backache after just one night and slept very badly. Yes, it's dark in side AND the neighbours were very noisy (TV blaring until 4:30am one night) but that was fine because THAT is the building and the location. The problems we had with the apartment were ALL avoidable. Compared with other apartments in the same area, in the same month (which we found after we booked this), this apartment was expensive. Tanya, from the lettings agency who met us on arrival, was very helpful and a credit and the owners who should be aware she does a good job 'meeting and greeting' on their behalf. But this apartment SHOULDN'T be rented out until these relatively small but important issues are resolved."
“We've informed the owner about your feedback, Heather. The door handle in the toilet and the wall has been fixed now. The owner bought everything that was needed in the kitchen: more glasses, cups, a toaster, water cooker etc. There is also more light in the apartment now, because a scaffold has been removed. Thanks for your review!”
