"Brilliant apartment in a choice location. Would love to stay again."
"Location, Location, Location in the Historic Centre The space, the ambience and the fabulous roof top terrace which does not have an image on the website along with the small balcony off the master bedroom. Local wines bars and shops selling the gastronomy of Tuscany"
"Très bien situé, agréable , confortable et bien aménagé, chambres calmes. Petite terrasse très sympathique."
"The apartment was comfortable and lovely. The location was great; we were right around the corner from Santa Croce and everything was within walking distance, including some delicious gelato! The microwave and American-style coffee maker were brand new (no espresso machine), the rooftop terrace was a great location for al fresco dining, and the beds and couches were comfortable (the twin beds were on the softer side while the bed in the master was firm). It's not that we didn't like these aspects of the apartment, but be aware that there are many stairs getting to the door, and then more stairs once you enter the apartment. There is a narrow spiral staircase to get to the loft/terrace, as well as one to get to the laundry loft above the kitchen. The spot for the washing machine was good for a laugh, but the floor was so thin, it felt like you could fall through, although it held one adult and one child just fine. Two of the chairs on the terrace had broken slats in the seat. The window in the main bathroom didn't have a covering, and although it didn't seem as though anyone could see in, we felt very exposed, especially at night. There was no instruction on how to use the TV or if there were English channels, and parts of it were unplugged, so we made do without TV for the week. We heard noises from pigeons in the chimney and a scratching noise from the walls in the master bedrrom that came every morning around 6AM-- we never quite figured out what they were."
"The apartment is very spacious, but still cosy. Everything you need is there. It's right in the centre. And if you need anything, help is always underway. Very nice place to stay! The apartment is not as light as on the pictures. But since we were out most of the day that was not really a problem."
"The location of the apartment is wonderful. It is close to a host of great stores at which you can buy groceries as well as a variety of great restaurants. We loved the fresh pasta store at the end of the block! It's also just minutes away from the Uffitizi a short walk from the Duomo. The apartment itself was very spacious and the terrace was lovely. Major repair work was being conducted on the outside of the apartment during our stay. The noise was terrible and started at 8am. The work resulted in dirt, rubble and tiles coming down from the ceiling into the apartment. The scaffolding blocked the windows of the apartment so we couldn't open the front windows for our entire stay. There was also scaffolding erected on the terrace which made it difficult to sit on the terrace and it blocked parts of the view. There were no instructions on how to use all the appliances (the washing machine, the stove and dishwasher). We had to ask the manager to come and show us how they worked. Even then, the dishwasher and VCR didn't work properly. And, every time we used the stove, the power went out. Finally, there were many stairs within the apartment as well as a few flights of stairs to get into the apartment itself. We would suggest that the description of the apartment include information about the stairs - particularly for older guests."
