"Four adults shared the space and found it to be quite comfortable. The kitchen is a good size and it's nice having two bathrooms. Due to the great location, we did notice that there is a fair amount of traffic and pedestrian noise so we had to keep the windows closed at night. The beds were o.k. (quite firm mattresses), but the pillows in the one bedroom were quite hard -- it would have been nice to have a choice of pillows. Overall we really enjoyed our stay."

"Our host was an hour late for check-in which was annoying but forgivable once we found out all the local streets were closed to traffic due to a May Day parade and she could not park anywhere close to the apartment. But more annoying was that the elevator was out of order so we had to carry our cases up 4 flights of creaky stairs. Our host stepped up and help us with the cases which was nice. The apartment was very nice. Old but modernised with a warped floor that made you feel like you were walking on a moving boat. Kind of interesting. All require facilities in the apartment so we cooked some nice meals at home. Good location for walking to points of interest and plenty of expensive restaurants nearby."

"Excellent location. Quite noisy, but to be expected given location. Good size accomodation and good communication links with Catarina. As reported there are problems with the lift. We were young enough to manage the 94 steps, but it could be a problem for others. Restaurants nearby we chose were all excellent.and close by. Some need booking to avoid disappointment. "

"We had a great citytrip! The appartment is located in the city centre and had all the necessary facilities (as described in details). It was clean and comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The stairs were a good workout, they're constructing an elevator so in the future this should be easier :-) "
"The location was excellent, within walking distance to the features of the city we most wanted to explore. The apartment was clean and was an amazing place to stay while visiting Lisbon. Check-in was a little delayed, had to call a couple of times, but check-out was smoother. There was also construction in the hallway / stairwell going on periodically during our stay which made it noisy and dusty at times, but we were out exploring the city most of the time so we didn't mind too much. Overall it was a positive experience, even with 96 stairs to walk up because there was no working elevator...more exercise is always good!"
"This apartment was completely misrepresented and should not be rented out. The apartment building was under construction. A new elevator was being put in, the apartment above, next door, and below were all undergoing construction. The noise was LOUD. SHAME on the apartment manager/owner Catarina for being so dishonest and unprofessional in renting this place. She knew exactly what was happening in the building. The apartment needs work. The kitchen sink was clogged, the washing machine does not work, the bathroom faucets need replacing, and the bathroom towels are old. We had to spend 6-8hours on our vacation to find a new place to rent. And of course, no one could reach Catarina all day until we were walking out the door. Waytostay was professional and tried to find us a new place but was unsuccessful. They refunded all our money except the first night. We felt we should have been refunded all our money. It was a total scam on Catarina's part. This place was totally unacceptable. Please share this complaint with your complaint department and post this review on your site."

"The apartment is located centrally within an active neighbourhood. The double glazing and air conditioning are great at keeping noise out and apartment cool. During our 4 day stay a neighbouring apartment was playing extremely loud house music from early to late evening each day - luckily this was to the rear of the apartment so bedrooms to the street side were not overly affected. The apartment itself is need of some maintenance - loose tap fixtures, old / leaky shower heads, cracking bathroom ceiling, spot light hanging from bedroom ceiling. Apartment facilities: - adequate drinkware, crockery and cooking utensils; no tumble dryer (but listed in description); supplied towels were old and tired. Apartment cleanliness: - Generally OK, but there was an ant problem within living area. My young daughter was also bitten by bugs each night during our stay. Clothes line in kitchen lightwell was extremely dirty and required cleaning. Check-In: - OK Check-Out: - Vendor was 30 minutes late; reneged on agreement of organising taxi to airport; stated she preferred Japanese people when she asked us where we originated from despite never visiting Japan, and new tenants also of chinese origin in same room at time; When we said we gave her apartment a general clear up before check-out she asked us to clean her other apartments rather than say thanks; tried to show us door without returning deposit; tried to cover this with feigned forgetfullness / Portuguese charm. Final thoughts: We would not want to pay any extra to the rate we paid (end of June - not peak season); the Vendor (Catarina Romao) has done very well with renting apartments and should reinvest in better maintenance; Vendor should show respect to her tenants rather than fleece them; we advise others to avoid this racist Vendor."

"Ruim appartement op een ideale plek in Lissabon. Winkels en eetgelegenheden rondom het appartement, metro op 100 meter. Start Yellowbus (Hop on Hop off) en beachshuttle op plein voor het appartement. Het appartement is echt een rustplek in het roerige Lissabon. Door de airco konden de ramen dichtblijven en had je vrijwel geen overlast van de drukte in de straten en op het plein. Contact vooraf met de beheerster van het appartement vooraf was prettig. Bij het inchecken gaf ze goede tips. Tussentijd contact gehad en heeft zij een restaurant voor ons gereserveerd waar we heerlijk gegeten hebben (leek even prijzig maar de gegeven prijs was voor 2 tot 3 personen dus uiteindelijk heel goedkoop). Uitchecken was prima geregeld. Tja, 8 trappen is heel wat maar dit weet je van tevoren. Enig minpuntje.. de douchekoppen zijn aan vervanging toe. "

"We loved our stay in this apartment. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Rooms were as pictured. Kitchen was fully equipped. Nice dining area. One bathroom is en suite; the other bathroom is separate from the second bedroom. We were able to handle the flights of stairs to the apartment without issue. Apartment manager, Catarina, was very friendly and helpful to us. Great location in Lisbon. Within walking distance of markets, shops, restaurants, train station and other transportation. "

"Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Apartment in zentraler Lage, in dem wir uns mit unseren erwachsenen Töchtern sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Küche perfekt eingerichtet, sehr nette und herzliche Übergabe.
