Great vacation rentals Madrid

Once you have settled into your rental apartment, it’s time to start really enjoying your vacation. First unpack your suitcases and head to Puerta del Sol - a great starting place because it’s right in the heart of Madrid. While there you could do some shopping, take a few snaps of the busy surroundings or pop into a tapas bar for a bite to eat. A fun and easy way to explore Madrid is to go on a Segway Tour. You will be shown all the main attractions in advance and it's a great way to familiarise yourself with the city. Reservations are encouraged as the tours are very popular. (Tip: before you book make sure the tour guide can speak in English.) Of course you can’t truly immerse yourself in Spanish culture without sampling the local food. Try Botín for starters. The oldest restaurant in the world, it’s a historic and typically Spanish setting where you can't go wrong ordering the lamb or the famous roast suckling pig. You can even order a whole pig to your table which is a nice option if you're with a group (or completely starving). The nightlife in Madrid is buzzing. Waytostay recommends going for drinks in La Latina, Tribunal, Gran Via or Plaza de España before spending the rest of the night dancing and singing to your heart’s content. Party animals should head to Kapital, a nightclub with a staggering 7 floors that keeps going until 6 in the morning.
