Some parts of Valencia are easy to get around on foot, so taking the car may not be a necessity. But if you think it’s more convenient or if you’re travelling further afield take note of the different colour zones that indicate where to park.
Yellow or red zones are no go areas, you can’t park there. Parking there will get you a ticket, or your vehicle may even be clamped or towed away.
Blue zones indicate you can park there at a charge and for a limited time. You pay at a machine and it’s applicable from Monday – Friday 09.00-14.00 and 16.00-21.00, and Saturdays from 09.00 to 14.00.
If you’re not put off and would still rather drive than take public transport, then you can also find a public car park close to your apartment.
