The metro in Valencia is modern and reasonably priced. A one-way ticket will cost you 1.40€ but if you’re planning on using it a few times during your trip, then you’ll save money buying a bonometro pass. You’ll get ten journeys in central zones A-D for 6.55€.
Another way to use the metro is by buying a Valencia Tourist Card which gives you unlimited travel on all public transport in the city as well as discounts to some of the major attractions. A 1-day pass is 6 euro, 2 days 10 euro and 3 days 15 euro. You can buy them from any tourist information point or tobacco kiosk.
