18. Währing, Vienna
There’s no Rodeo Drive, but Währing is still known as the local ‘Beverly Hills’. With one of the city’s best parks and easy connections to the centre, there’s a lot to crow about.
Grab your coat, borrow a dog and head to the English-style Pötzleindorfer Park for gorgeous walking amongst the meadows and fine views of Vienna. The Biedermeier-style Geymüller Schlössel also has breathtaking gardens. Afterwards take the tram to Grinzing for a warming snifter in a traditional tavern.
